The JRT itself is not one of the breeds registered with the AKC, but the Parson Russell Terrier is. The name was changed from the one to the other.
4. Their breed has 3 different coats
There is a smooth coat which is short, long coat which is longer but tamed, and a rough coat which is a combination of a smooth and long coat.
5. JRTs are famous, and famous people love them!
Different Jack Russells have been featured in movies and TV shows like Wishbone, Fraizer, & The Mask. There also also many celebrities that are known JRT owners like Mariah Carey, Paul McCartney, and even Prince Charles!
