So what is it?

These are referred to as “Queen Anne” legs! Queen Anne legs are a feature often seen on furniture legs, such as the ones above.

What does it mean?

There are many JRTs that have this feature, but it can be a sign of a condition called chondrodysplasia. This roughly means that the cartilage in their legs is not strong. It is not something that can be prevented, as it develops from birth.

It could lead to arthritis or other complications as they get older, but they typically live a normal and happy life!
